Didn’t Like It“I normally like Lee Child's Jack Reacher books, but this one was pretty bad. I'd give this one a miss... unless I were stuck in an airport or under the chunnel.” see full review » see other reviews » |

Yes | No“Lee Child is one of the most popular, if not THE most popular, thriller writers publishing today. There's a reason. He has a formula, sticks with it, yet manages to keep the stories and his protangonist, Jack Reacher, a fresh character. The books start with a volatile situation and the action never lets up after that. Reacher, riding on a NY subway at 2 a.m., spots a nervous woman who shows signs of being a suicide bomber. Reacher approaches her, and something horrible happens, and the story takes off. In addition to the quirky Reacher and the tense and action-filled plots, Child makes the stories real by the details he uses - descriptions of people, places and coffee. ”
