“This was a very adventurous book. I like it because of how it described the cars as giant monsters because that's how they would appear to cats along with other seemingly normal objects. I also like how the character goes from being stuck in a house in the beginning to finding the whole world of other cats and their personalities outside. ”

In order to save his family Varjak has to learn a secret cat martial art "The Way" and has to leave the comfort and safety of the house.
