“I read this book when I was in the fourth grade and instantly it became my favorite book. I admit, I'm a sucker for tween romance novels but this one is interesting because of the the time period: Elizabethan -- minus the barbarity. Comparable to Romeo and Juliet, Once Upon a Marigold is relatively short with large print making it great for early readers (i.e. 4th graders).”
