“I bought this series for my dad (who passed away in 2004) and he had #s 1-6. I've read the first 6 and although I'm not keeping them (they're very sobering and disturbing at times), I want to read #s 7-9 to find out what happens! I'm giving the first 6 either to the library where my aunt lives (apartments for low-ncome elderly) or to a recent college grad who is going to be a history teacher. I want someone who will read and take care of them to have them, not have them end up in a used book sale to later be tossed if they don't sell! ”

Yes | No“Although I give the Zion Covenant books a 5 star rating, I just can't give this book more than 3 stars. It's a continuation to the Zion Covenant series that Thoene completed over a decade ago, and many chapters come straight out of her other book, "Twilight of Courage." The new parts seemed rushed and unoriginal. If you're a Thoene fan, I'd recommend reading it to complete the series, but "Twilight of Courage" is much better, even thought it is much longer. ”
