“As always, the Thoenes produce excellent books. I enjoyed the different setting in this one and loved the way they could still connect the story to the characters from their popular Zion series. I did, however, think that the beginning was a little slow, but then things started to pick up. I look forward to reading the rest.”

“Don't read any of these unless you plan to read them all. Excellent historical fiction--one big history lesson! Most of the books in the Thoene series (they have several!) intertwine relational issues alongside the political, so there is something for everyone.”
