  “Wonderful book to read with the Christmas Season coming up. The Thoene's put skin on the characters of Joseph and Mary to help give a better understanding of what they must have gone through to obey the Lord. I realize this is fictionalized, but they seem to have done a good job of researching the culture as well as the Biblical narrative so that while some things are "extra-biblical" I don't believe it is "un-biblical." The entire A.D.Chronicles series is a must read!!”
