Betsy is off to Cape Cod to take Antonia's body back to her Pack. Not only does she feel bad about Antonia's death, but she's not sure what to expect from the Werewolves when she gets there. Tagging along with her is her husband Sinclair, her best friend Jessica and her ward (and baby brother) BabyJon. The Pack is in mourning and trying to play the blame game when it comes to dealing with the death. They also seem to have an aversion to Betsy's ward. Can all the finger pointing be settled or will there be a war between the two sides? And will they figure out why the Werewolves have a problem with the BabyJon?

Meanwhile, back on the home front, things aren't going well. Betsy's sister Laura is being followed by Satan worshipers and Marc, Betsy's housemate and friend, thinks that he's doing a good thing by suggesting ideas to Laura on what to do with them. Little does he know that it's backfired. Now there are Satanists all over the house, Tina, Sinclair's right hand woman, is missing, their cell service has been shut off and Marc can't get ahold of Betsy. Oh, and Marc's keeping a journal of it all. Have things been pushed to far to recover from?

This is another excellent read from MaryJanice Davidson. I howled with laughter while reading this, especially Marc's journal entries. Unfortunately, this is the second to the last book in the series and while I hate to see this series end I have to say that I can't wait to get my hands on the last book.
