“This audio collection consists of three short stories by Louis L'Amour. If you have read a bit of L'Amour's works, you are probably already familiar with the main characters:
South of Deadwood - is from the Chick Bowdrie, Texas Ranger series. Bowdrie uses his skills to help a beautiful girl clear her brother's name. The problem is that the gang the brother rode with are some bad hombres. Is he mixed up too deep to be cleared?
Too Tough To Brand - Another Bowdrie tale and another beautiful girl needs Bowdrie's help. This time to help clear her foster father. But $15,000 in cash has disappeared and so has Bert Ramey(her father). Is he a thief and murderer or victim?
A Gun For Kilkenny - Kilkenny is another familiar character to L'Amour fans. A stranger rides into the town of Boquilla and has to face down the town bully. The bully is left dead; the town celebrates their freedom as well as the mysterious stranger - the famous Kilkenny. But...is he really Kilkenny?
These dramatizations are wonderful. They are full cast performances, complete with music and the sounds effects of the old west. Each story is on its own disc and each run about an hour.
Saddle up once more with Bowdrie and Kilkenny.
Great for long drives or when you just want to be taken to the old west for a while.”
