Red-Headed Stepchild was an awesome debut and I'm happy to say the beginning of a trilogy (I believe). Sabina is half vampire and half mage which means she is an outcast amongst the vampires who are her family. She...” see full review » see other reviews » |

“Not bad. I liked the main character for most of the book, but I feel like there wasn't enough relationship development. Her interactions with the other characters were too brief and vague. I don't know that I will seek out the next book, but I would read it if I came across it.”

I like the more detailed story behind where vampires came from - and how all vampires are redheads [and any redhead humans have vampire in their heritage - very clever!]. The plot and the characters are interesting enough for me to want to find out what happens next, so we'll see!”

Sabina is a pretty cool chick so far. The E-books are cheap, so I'm definitely gonna keep buying and reading. On to the next one in the series.”

I look forward to reading the next in the series called The Mage in Black”
“This book was yet another look at how the vampire race is. Red headed and decendents of lillith. I liked Sabina and how she gained the courage to find out about the truth about where she came from. She finds friends she never had and even finds love. This a great read from start to finish. I cant wait to read more about Sabina's adventures. ”

It provides you with a lot of background but still leaves a lot of questions unanswered so I will definitely be getting the next one. ”
