I loved the twists and turns of this book. It was a real 'whodunnit' that kept me guessing until the very end. Well written and thought out. Recommend.

Overall I enjoyed the book (your all waiting for the BUT now) but I found the ending a little disappointing. The plot was good and the strange characters and even stranger actions and attitudes of the main characters had me itching to know more. What was odd was that apart from Ree (the daughter) and Mr Smith (the cat) I didn't actual relate or sympathies with any of the characters they all seemed a little off centre. Don't let this put you off it is well worth reading.

From the title and summary I was expecting a better tale. It kept me a bit interested. Some characterizations where unreal, some of the behaviors not true to life. Wish it had been better.

From a distance Jason and Sandra Jones appear to be the perfect couple. They have a beautiful daughter, a new house and are in the beginning stages of building a life together. Their perfect façade slowly begins to crumble with Sandra goes missing shortly after putting their daughter to bed. Jason immediately turns into the prime suspect when he’s aloof and uncooperative with the police. What exactly is he hiding? Does he want his wife to be found? If he didn’t kill her, does he know who did? These questions are what Detective Sergeant D.D. Warren is determined to find out.
