“Smoke is my name, my title. Smoke is a drug dealer who's give's breanne crack. And she gives him what she need's. But after sixteen years breanne is back in smokes live with a bug problem a sixteen year old hoodlum that she say's is his son? and this young man comes to him with alot of problem frist of all the streets where his mother and father comes from and now the surprise a new family that he did know and life turtns around for all three. Very good read”

“This book was EXCELLENT!!! I can't wait to read this authors first book. I think it's called Running from Mercy. I am adding Terra Little to my list of favorite authors because I just lover her writing style and the story was that good!”

“I was not in the mood for another hood book and almost put it back on my library's shelf but sat down to peruse it quickly and ended up at chapter 3 before I realized it. This novel about overcoming, forgivenes, reunions and acceptance will have you dreading it must come to an end. Smoke & Isaiah's getting to know each other was oh so touching and Smoke and Anne's chemistry will have you on fire! I loved every character, chapter and sentence because it was like reading a movie it flowed so nicely. I finished the book in no time and am going to read it againg in case I missed somthing from going so fast and definitly will add to my collection. Great, Great job Terra.”

Where There's Smoke is a beautiful read which reads intelligently of the conflicts of life. A once drug addicted mother(Anne) struggles to raise her son(Isaiah), who's a teenager that somehow is drugging, drinking, making bad choices, and running around with the wrong crowd. There's only one thing to do and that's get in touch with Isaiah's enstranged father Smoke(Alec Avery) who never knew Isaiah exists. Together, the three of them learn much about the qualities and responsibility in life. This is a father's effort to now make the right choices and do right by a son he never knew. The book also show u how Isaiah struggles with whether or not to forgive his mother for her drug addiction.
Where There's Smoke is one of the best books out for 2009. It gives insight on enstranged fathers, and mothers struggling with teenage boys. There was alot of comedy intertwined but was interesting that one still get a message and be able to move u all the same. The character development was detailed and excellent. I was able to connect with the overall feel of the characters. The book plot and meaning is stitched together beautiful. This is my first read by author Terra Little and I was amazed at her storytelling. Kudos to Mrs. Little, u deserve 5 stars, and 2 thumbs up for this beautiful and inspiring read. ”
“Excellant book, guy use to be a drug dealer, was arrest the judge came him a choice to go to prison or join the miltary, and he join the miltary, get out become a teacher, one day he get paper for child support, he find that he has a son who now 16yrs old. His son mother is the girl that he sold drug to when she was a teenage, she would sell her body for crack, only wanted to buy it from him. He find her, meet his son get into his life, and he find out he has feeling for her,he still and always for in love with him. Hey read the book and you will find out what happen. Me myself I was glad at the way that it end. Recommend It!! First time reading a book by this author, and was not disappointed!! Read in a day, keep glue from the first to last page!”
