This book was alot of fun and a every good story. I think my fav thing about Johanna Lindsey books is the fact that the couple act like they hate eachother and geting them to admit they don't is like pulling teeth.

A magnificent creature of raw yet disciplined desires, the muscle-bound primitive succeeds where no puny Kystran male had before--igniting a raging fire within Tedra that must be extinguished before she can even think of saving her enslaved world. . .

I loved this book and often laughted out loud when Martha would get involved. I love a heroine who determined not to be sucked into being a slave to her emotions and sexual needs only to find out there is just no ignoring them. She fought so hard to resist this 'warrior' who tried to enslave her. I remember her being freaked out about her new attire. They practically fell off her and almost didnt cover her in the appropriate places. Its a great story for any fan of romance.

This was the first trashy romance novel I ever read as a young teenager. A perfect fantasy novel with space travel, sex robots, alien animals and big sexy barbarians. My copy is a well loved dog-eared mess from being passed along to most of my friends at the time. Every once in a while I’ll read it again to take a trip down both memory and fantasy lane.

This book is responsible for my meeting my own "barbarian" and creating my adorable son, a junior swordsman and water rat. I dream of this planet every night. Sure, it's kinda silly and it's not the best science fiction but it's the best "brain candy" I've ever had. I've written several theme songs to go with this book and even have done my own illustrations from the story. I even named my all-white cat, Sharm, after the cat in the story. It is a very rare tale that will stick with me as this one has.
