The Last Stand of Fox Company by Bob Drury and Tom Clavin is about a group of soldiers in Fox company during the Korean War. The book discuss all of the problems that Fox company had encounter while fighting. The soldiers had to climb mountainous terrain and survive temperatures below zero. The book main focus is discussing why the Korean War is known as the Forgotten War. People do not focus on the Korean War and they do not recognize the soldiers that fought in it. This causes another problem for Fox company because they have to deal with a War that they felt was useless bringing their morale down.
I enjoyed reading this book because I learned more about the Korean War. I thought that the authors style of writing was unique because they would tie in modern events during the book. The only thing that I disliked about this book was that it did not build one a specific group of people, instead the plot focused on a wide range of people. This caused me to not have many connects to the book. Overall, I enjoyed reading this book and I would recommend it to anyone who is interested in reading a war novel.

(100 stars!) Incredible Story! This is an amazing book that tells the story of Fox Company, a group of Marines who in the Korean War held the hill although totally surrounded by Chinese and in extreme cold weather conditions. What makes this book so good, besides the story itself, is the writing. It made me feel like I know these guys and that I was right there with them. It was hard to put this book down. I is amazing how they fought and survived. I salute you, Fox Company, and to Mr. Drury and Mr. Clavin, super job! Thank you for this book. It's a must read for everybody!
