“So far so good--Tragic tale but very historically accurate, I think. Tragic, tragic, tragic --not so much YA as I usually read but, if you are interested in history, you will like this book.”

“Did not like the ending. I think the ending was too abrupt. Not satisfying at all. I do agree that was better than Peony in Love and not as good as Snow Flower and Secret Fan. Overall I did like the book.”
