I've used it for over 30 years and if it had not been for the reading of God's word and learning obedience to His word, I would be a lost soul walking in darkness, and worse of all spiritually dead. Believe me when I say, "I am having a personal...” see full review » see other reviews » |

Yes | No“The Kings James 1611 Bible was written in the early english language, when english didn't have all of its alphabets, and most words ended in (th or e). The (J, V, etc.) wasn't established, and although the (S) was a part of the alphabets, it wasn't used as it is today, instead the (F) was used, where the (S) is today. For one to truly understand the 1611, I would encourage they do some research during the periods of (1380 - 1582), of the english of that day. In-addition, I understand from researching the earlier writers such as Wycliff, Tyndale, Coverdale, Bishop, and others who pioneered the translations to English, and this masterpiece, that The King James 1611 version is closely related to the original text. I find that this 1611 edition speaks more precisely to what is really meant, as given by the Almighty through His prophets. The 1611 version can quite rewarding if studied in honest. ”

I am interested in it as a source material and foundation for western Civilization, literature, etc. as well as for obvious reasons......”
