InuYasha had attempted to steal the Shikon Jewel. Once InuYasha is released from his prison, hijinks ensue and the jewel is broken into many different pieces. The series is very entertaining and pretty fast-paced. InuYasha may be half demon, but adorable! ”

“InuYasha is a manga all about demons and is a shoujo(love affairs). This story first takes place in Tokyo with a 15 year old girl named Kagome. One day she goes to a sacred well near her families shrine called the "bone-eaters well". Just before you know it kagome is dragged down the well by a demon wanting something called the "shikon jewel" or "jewel of four souls"(the shikon jewel, if it is digested by a demon or half-breed, the demon will become more powerfull and immortal) when Kagome destroys the demon with some strange power she never knew existed, and bringing her her to the Sengoku Jidai era. Kagome soon finds out that she is the reincarnation of a protectress and priestess by the name of Kikyo. She also finds a half dog half human demon also known as half breed who is bound to a tree by a spell. Once again the same demon from the well attacks Kagome, in which takes a bite of side and out comes the shikon jewel, so Kagome releases InuYasha from his spell to help her out which didn't turn out like she planned. Later on an incident occurs when a crow demon ingests the shikon jewel and kagome shoots a sacred arrow at it which she obtained and hit the demon right on but the shikon jewel gets broken to hundreds of pieces and it's Kagomes and InuYashas job to find all the pieces of the shikon jewel.

I like this manga because its about a dog demon and a human that is a reicarnation working together through many battles to regain the once shikon jewel. In the same time the two become more and more accustomed to each other and eventually start liking each other. This manga was very good. ”
“This book is so rad and the cartoon i feel that kikkyo and kagome are going to fight over inuyasha because they both like him and i really think that kikkyo is trying to destroy all demons that are evil and i think that she really wants to destroy the demon inside of inuyasha so that is what i know so far. thx! :)”

“The 55 (ish) volume series that is InuYasha is one of the most well-known manga in the world by the legendary Rumiko Takahashi.

It has decent, if simplistic, artwork and an engrossing, adeventure storyline that is suitable for all ages and genders.
The female lead is Kagome, a girl from the 21st century who finds herself kidnapped through a well to a time 500 years before she was born. There she finds that she is the reincarnation of a miko (priestess) called Kikyo who died defending a sacred jewel that coudld bring power to demons.
When the jewel is shattered, Kagome must time up with a hanyo (half-demon) called InuYasha (who has really cute puppy ears!!) in order for the shards to not fall into the wrong hands.
You have to be patient with this series as it is very long and only 4 volumes come out a year. But is a lovely story with good twists and you find yourself very tempted to read the scanlations because you just can't wait for the next volume!!

“i have read and own most of the inuyasha series! this is one of my favorite anime series my favorite characters are sango,inuyasha , kagome,shippo,koga,miroko(spelled wrong srry!)and kirira(spelled wrong i think?) i just love the books they are so funny and so are the episodes! i have seen all of them and the movies! i was happy that in inuyasha the movie 2 they finally kissed! but i wish they would of made more episodes caused they ended the show so stupidly kind of!it's like do they kiss and what happens with finding the last shikon jewel shards? and what happens with naruku?( sp)and so many other questions! but it was just so good! oh and SORRY FOR ALL THOSE PEOPLE OUT THEIR WHO LIKE KIKYO I DONT LIKE HER SHE NEEDS TO GO REST IN PEACE AND MOVE ON I MEAN HE PICKS KAGOME BUT I DO FEEL SORRY FOR HER!”
