Outstanding Regency novel -- the plight of women is apparent, as well as the working class. We've come a long way, baby.

I really enjoyed all the titles in this series. Mary Balogh is an enjoyable author.

This final book in the Huxtable series turned out to be a delight. At first the thought of a possible murderess seducing the kindest hero imaginable was not at all pleasant, but the story soon won me over. It would have been nice to have a conclusion to Con's story, but it was still good.

Read this at Barnes & Noble while I was waiting for the AC to get fixed on my car. Okay story - totally not worthy of hardback. AC not working again. :(

Much better than Katherine and Margaret's stories. I actually wasn't sure if I wanted to bother with Stephen's because, when they're read one right after the other, things start to sound the same, just with different names. But Stephen was truly a hero worth falling in love with, and Cassandra was a very sympathetic character. I liked her better than Margaret and Katherine, although maybe not more than Vanessa.

Best book in this series. I really liked Stephen's growth through out the series, though I'd like to think male regency youths didn't actually say things like, "I say!" and "Jolly good!" every other sentence.

Stephen is so sweet. I was surprised by the initial twist of the title. A nice story about restoring hope and finding real love.

Stephen is an angel! So sweet and authoritative when necessary, I really hope there is a book for Con though!!
