This is one of the few books that I have found to be truly encouraging, as well as helpful, in raising a challenging, stroll-willed child. It helped me understand my own (and yes, spirited) personality and how it clashes with my child's. It also helped me to understand "the breaking point" and why we get there so fast. I highly recommend this book to any parent who has daily clashed with a strong-willed child.
