When Megan Smith finds herself $75,000 deep in student loans, and without a job, a diamond in the rough appears. A tutoring job, but it's not going to be easy. The girls she's going to be tutoring, are wild partying, paparazzi fighting identical twins Rose and Sage Baker. The twin's grandmother is gave them an ultimatum:Get into Stanford or Get cut-off. When Megan first arrives, the girls play a dirty trick on her, and from there on she figures that she'll have to be quick on her feet with the twins. The twin's grandmother(who they live with) is a notorious celebrity. She's intimidating and doesn't take crap from anyone. Megan runs into a really good looking guy at one of the events the twins take her to, and they have an on and off fling. But when she goes to meet his parents, they're less than accepting of her. Megan has to tutor the girls around their schedule, which isn't very easy. With all their parties, and having friends over, they aren't very interested in learning. So, Megan gets tough on the girls, which actually brings out the smarter side of one twin, and makes the other jealous. Will the twins be smart enough to get into Stanford? Or will Megan have to rob a bank to pay off her debt?

Recent Yale graduate Megan Smith comes to Manhattan with big plans for a career in journalism and even bigger student loan debt: $75,000. When she flails at her trashy tabloid job, she's given an escape hatch: tutor seventeen-year-old identical twins Rose and Sage Baker--yes, the infamous Baker heiresses of Palm Beach, Florida, best known for their massive fortunes and their penchant for drunkenly flashing the paparazzi -- and get their SAT scores up enough to get into Duke. Impossible job -- yes. But if she succeeds, her student debts are history. Unfortunately for Megan, the Baker twins aren't about to curtail their busy social schedules for basic algebra. And they certainly aren't thrilled to have to sit down for a study session with dowdy Megan. Megan quickly discovers that if she's going to get her money, she'll have to learn her Pucci from her Prada. And if she can look the part, maybe, just maybe, she can teach the girls something along the way.
