Liked It “It's a compilation of former talks/speeches he's given rather than a fluid themed book. I recognized a lot of the conference talks, but as always Elder Holland has a way with words, so I enjoyed the book and it was an easy read.” see full review » see other reviews » |

“Each of us struggle with daily to deal with hurts we have recieved either self-inflicted or from another. We are all broken one way or another. These words of cousel and inspiration have lifted my spirits and helped me find a little light in my personal darkness. ”

“I didn't read far enough down the dust jacket when I picked this up in the bookstore to see that it is a compilation of previous talks. Elder Holland is always excellent but I was hoping for some new material...”

“This was a nice book, and certainly worth reading for some spiritual insights. I'm always a little disappointed when I purchase a book by a General Authority and it turns out to be a compilation of conference talks that I have already read. Thankfully, this volume includes some extra talks--to mission presidents, etc., that I had not yet read. ”
