Didn’t Like It“I'm not really a fan of the genre where angels fall away because they've fallen for a human. It seems completely unrealistic to me, and the idea of a guardian angel (who used to be a human--which again, doesn't really make sense) checking out his charge undressing is gross. But whatever. It seems completely unrealistic to me, and the idea of a guardian angel (who used to be a human--which again, doesn't really make sense) checking out his charge undressing is gross. But whatever. There are plenty of other reasons to dislike the book. The characters are too ridiculous to relate to. The random inserts of internet blogs was just weird. All the jumps forward in time allow the author to skip over character development, which again makes it difficult for the reader to relate to them. ”

I loved Zachary, though i would have liked more romantic parts between Zachary and Miranda. The end was surprising because i didn't expct Zachary to (I'm not doing spoilers)... you know. It was a really good book. I recomend it.”

I was a bit skeptical about the whole premise for the book (fallen angel has to save a vampire) but since it made a lot of the "must-read" lists for the summer, I gave it a whirl. Sadly it was poorly written. The plot was fluffy (even fluffier than most of the stuff I read). I honestly skipped several chapters that did nothing to move the plot along (I still got the whole story w/o having read 3 or 4 chapters). And then the ending was a let down too. ”

I wanted more romance from it though. The unhappy ending caught me a bit by surprise. Still, this book is a decent teen read.”

Zach and Miranda are two very different characters, and are both equally unique. Smith also adds comic relief, which is a positive addition. I can't wait until the book Blessed (which combines the characters from Eternal and Tantalize) is released!”
