This was an awesome book that dates back to early Japan and then adds mystery to it all with just one little sword that changes the whole plot. It was great.

Dan and Amy Cahill are on their way to Toyko when Uncle Alistair Oh shows up and attempts to form an alliance with them. They need his help because Natalie and Ian Kabra stole their boarding passes and separated them from their au pair, Nellie Gomez. Uncle Alistair gets them to Toyko and they find that another clue leads them to South Korea. As an unseemly alliance forms between Dan and Amy, Uncle Alistair, and Natalie and Ian, dangers mounts and Dan, Amy and Alistair are tricked and supposedly buried in the mountain hideaway that conceals a treasure trove of the great warrior, Hideyoshi. Dan and Amy manage to find a way out, but Alistair is feared dead. A puzzle-like clue leads them onto Egypt...where more danger, clues-to-clues, and sinister family members are sure to waiting.

Another great book in the 39 Clues series!

This 3rd book follows Dan and Amy to Japan, where there are ninja fights, collapsing tunnels and----Amy has a crush!

The non-stop action in these books make the reader unable to put them down. Join Amy and Dan as they search for the rest of the Cahill's 39 Clues!
