“This is a book about a thief who's name is Evan Tanner. His occupation at the beginning of the book is not exactly honorable, seeing as he writes people's college term papers for money. He also has an Armenian girlfriend who is a dancer at a nightclub. Evan Tanner is a very interesting person, actually. he is not only a college degree paper writer, but he is also a member of an incredible amount of organizations, and knows a lot of languages as a result. this was a very good book because his ability to know other languages and his hobby of joining organizations puts a very unique spin on the book. in addition, another interesting point about him is that he hasn't slept for sixteen years. this is because he apparently lost the portion of his brain that tells/allows him to sleep. the main premise of the story is, he goes to turkey to find a long lost stash of gold, and gets arrested because of all the organizations that he belongs to, some of which the turks do not get along well with. he then escapes from his captors and runs throughout ireland to get away from them. All in all, it was a very interesting book.”
