The Last Olympian (2009) (edit title/settings)

“May 20, 2013 (make up for last week)
Now that i've read the whole series, I could see the big character changes that happened with all the characters from beginning to end. For example, Percy Jackson became a better demi-god. He was able to give commands that would benefit everyone, and make choices that would lead to a victory for their side of the battle. Annabeth became more open with the things she did, she told everything so that she could help others and herself instead of keeping everything to herself. The fact that they all worked together was another reason to why they won against the Titans. Throughout the whole story, Annabeth and Percy and the rest of the olympians had to make big decisions that would not let their plan get ruined, and they had to learn to fight against a big person, Kronos. I think this book is a good book to read because it shows how your decisions can impact the things you do. It shows how you have to put your best effort, and how in the end that could help you become a bigger and better person. ”

“This was a fulfilling "end" to the story. (The quotation marks are because the story apparently keeps going with "The Heroes of Olympus." I don't think I'll be reading those just yet though.) The way that Percy proves who he really is in the end... good stuff. I enjoyed his choices. And the choices of other characters. And this whole series is giving me flashbacks to sixth grade and making me want to study mythology again. I want to write a musical. ”
