This is a partially finished book by Stephenie Meyer that is on hold indefinitely according to her update on her website dated August 2008. It is the story of Twilight from Edward's point of view.

Summary edit
Originally written as a character development exercise, "Midnight Sun" tells the story of Twilight from Edward's point of view. As it is unfinished, it only contains the first few chapters of the story, and is in need of editing. It is available to read on her website StephenieMeyer.com.
