Reading Level: Young AdultsThe author explains that "gun-proofing your child" is more important than "child-proofing your gun," and as such, this book may be valuable to a parent trying to teach a child about guns. Given the subject matter, however, it is imperative that an adult be involved in the process. And of course, the book is inappropriate for anyone who is too young to operate a firearm by themselves.
