“Being a huge baseball fan, I always enjoy finding out about the non-baseball part of players' lives. This story was particularly interesting, as it gave Hamilton's first-hand perspective about a life-threatening drug addiction. He did a great job of intertwining his on-field challenges with his off-field struggles. The story was both happy and sad at times, as it talked about the horrible effects of his drug problem on himself and his family, but it ended with a happy ending as he is now sober and a big-time home-run hitter for the Texas Rangers.”

Being a huge Josh Hamilton fan already, this book jumped out at me from the moment I saw it at the bookstore. This book made me laugh, and it made me cry. Josh is truly an inspiration to everyone dealing with addiction and I would recommend this book to anyone, baseball fan, or not.”
