HONEYMOON IN VEGAS? Already the alpha pair of Denver's werewolf pack, Kitty and Ben now plan to tie the knot human-style by eloping to Vegas. Kitty is looking forward to sipping fru-fru drinks by the pool and doing her popular radio show on live TV, but her hotel is stocked with werewolf-hating bounty hunters. Elsewhere on the Strip an old-school magician might be wielding the real thing; the vampire community is harboring a dark secret; and the irresistible star of a suspicious animal act is determined to seduce Kitty. Sin City has never been so wild, and this werewolf has never had to fight harder to save not only her wedding, but her very life.

Another great Kitty Norville book. This one took a little getting into, I wasn't too thrilled about the storyline being in Las Vegas, I was afraid it was going to be gimmicky. But it was a great story and total set up for the next book. I can't wait to get started.

The series continues to be interesting, new characters and supernatural creatures coming to the surface, new threats and adventures and Kitty still trying to be as normal as possible. I continue to enjoy this series and look forward to the next one.

As always Kitty comes through with some heart-wrenching moments and much giggles. Love the vampires owning the Strip.

Kitty and Ben are getting Married and the perfect place seems to be Las Vegas. They can relax, enjoy some frou frou drinks and have a little fun. However nothing, it seems, is ever that simple. The Western Regional Firearm Enthusiast Exhibiton is in full swing and some of it's members are packing silver. Ben is missing and Kitty is upsetting the wrong people.

There are parts that I liked in the book but a lot of it I really didn't. I didn't think Ben and Kitty would be the type to steal away to Vegas in the first place. Small wedding in the woods maybe but not packed smelly vegas. The convention of bounty hunters hanging out together in Vegas is rediculous. I've seen it once before and I still hate it. It's missing some of my favorite characters like Rick and Shaun and seems to be side-lining from where the story was. Oh, and what the heck happened to Cheryl? She was supposed to come along and never showed. Hmm...

Loved all the peripheral things going on in this one.

Let me start out by saying that it took SO LONG for this book to come out that I actually had to revisit the last two books to reconnect with what had been going on! That just seems a little extreme to me, because while I read a lot, rarely do I have to spend so much time boning up before even starting the newest book. I haven't decided if that means that Ms. Vaughn has just taken waaay too long before releasing this latest book in Kitty's saga, or if her books are just not memorable enough. It's probably a bit of both, because while I enjoy reading about Kitty and Ben there is just something about them that is kind of forgettable. In Dead Man's Hand, Kitty and Ben finally make things legal and head to Vegas to escape the trial and tribulations of planning a big wedding. But of course nothing can be that easy, and their plans are interrupted by her stations' decision to set Kitty up for a TV special while she's there and Rick sending her off to meet the master vampire of Las Vegas- and this all intertwined with a Vegas act filled with possibly mistreated lycanthropes. It's a fast paced book of ups and downs, and even a kidnapping! Kitty continues her adventures of never keeping her nose out of anything, and the insertion of a Babylonian cult created an interesting set up for the next book (coming out in March). I don't like to give anything away, just be assured that it's a good book in a decent series and you'll definitely end up feeling the love between these two alpha werewolves! \

Kitty is getting married and she and her lover do not want to do the big long drawn out ceremony.
She and ben deciede to get married in Las Vegas. They go to Vegas, and while there are going to put on a live Kitty and the midnight Hours show.
Ben goes to a poker tournament and ends up qualifying for the big one the next night.
Supernatural abounds and Kitty is right in the middle of vampire politics and mystery surounding a animal act of big cats.
Are they really cats, or more? Why is the magician telling her to stay away?
What is up with the Vampire Lord also?

Kitty and Ben, now the dominant alphas of the Denver area, have decided to tie the knot and make it official human-style now as well. Despite her mother's objections, a big, expensive wedding doesn't appeal to either Kitty or Ben, so they've decided to elope to Las Vegas instead. But trouble seems to follow Kitty no matter where she runs off to, and beneath all the glitz and glamour of the Vegas strip lies a darker secret... one that will put the lives of both Kitty and Ben in grave danger.

This fourth book in the Kitty the Werewolf series is a bit lighter on the action than the previous books, but only slightly so. It focuses a bit more on Kitty and Ben's personal life and lets you see a bit deeper into that side of them, further endearing their characters to you. It may be the action which initially draws you in to this series, but it's the characters that will keep you coming back for more. Kitty and Ben rock!! :)

Oh Kitty! More crazy adventures for our favorite wolf. This book was different in that it really sets up for the next book in the series, which I'm dying to get my hands on.

I adore where Vaughn has taken Kitty and Ben and I love how strong they are together. I think they compliment each other really well.
