One morning Bobby wakes up, looks in the mirror, and sees nothing! at first he's thinking that it is a dream. Once he is downstairs and his parents don't realize hes there, he understands that it isn't a dream. One day his parents are in a savere car wreck. This means that he has to stay at home by himself until his parents get better. He decides to make this time alone and adventure for this invisible boy. He takes a trip to the library and runs into a girl, Alicia. At first hes expecting a scream from her, but then realizes that she is blind. This story takes you on the adventures of Bobby and Alicia as they try to figure out how he became invisible in the first place. With the help of Bobby and Alicia's dads, the finally come to a conclusion of what happened to Bobby on that cold winter morning!
In the book Things Not Seen by Andrew Clements, I realized that people can actually like you for who you are. Although Alicia didn't know what Bobby looked like, she still trusted him with her every move. He could have been the ugliest person she had ever meet, but due to her condition, this didn't bother her. She had faith in him. This amazing story reminds me to love and care for people for who they are and not their physical appearence.”
