“Love Bruen's Jack Taylor.”

I loved the pace, was intrigued by Jack Taylor and felt satisfied with the ending. I've now picked up several other books by Ken Bruen. You may find the story could be "meatier" but it's a nice change to have a book that can be a quick and dirty read.”

Yes | No“I love Ken Bruen but his books seem to be getting very lean: wide spacing and fewer words per page and not so many book and music recommendations as earlier books. But the story is still good and Jack Taylor is still my anti-hero of choice. This story involves a crazy ex-nun who is going to kill a list of people, ending with a child, followed by killing Jack. This book does have a further development in Jack's personal life which could bode well for his sobriety. I'll be eager to see if anything develops.”
