“It had a promising premise, and I managed to get halfway through the book when it just started to drag. Sure, it picked up near the end, but by then I've already lost my interest to the whole series in general. It's world and magic system isn't anything new, although I like how the protagonist didn't let his newfound strong power change him (much) to become some kind of badass dude who can handle anything and everything just because he's uber-strong now.”
