“This is one when I thought "everyone knows the story, but noone has read the book" so I read it. TORTURE. It took almost forever to get through it. Maybe this is one you either love or hate.”

“Did anybody else perceive that on one level this was alove story? Frankenstein was angry because the good doctor created him in the world without some one to love ! The other thing that should be readily apparent is that we are brainwashed by the movies . This book as far away from what the non reader has in his mind about Frankenstein as the night is from the day . I agree with j.c. it is a brilliant novel .”
