“16 year- old Alice, who has lost her mother from cancer and has not quit gotten over her death. Alice writes music, loses herself in the love of her boyfriend, and distances herself from her father and his new wife to help her cope. Time has passed and her father and his new wife now have a baby daughter. Alice is finding it hard to accept all the change and is not connecting to her new family. Until she finds herself trapped in a snowstorm with her new step-mom and baby sister from visiting her step grandparents.
