Supposed to be a new series, but picks up where her last book left off. Eve Anderson is trying to keep her business afloat while dealing with her mother who has early onset Alzheimers. KenZie Gregor an immortal warrior, cursed to live as a panther, but has been granted life as a man, buys Eve's house & vows to take care of her. This book brings back Father Darr, William the dragon who becomes a man again - mystical & funny story.

In a softer, cheesier way reminded me of the Black Dagger Brotherhood. Good beach read.

i absolutely loved this books as i do with all of janet chapman's books. i loved instant attraction and the fight the both put into and how she went to save him even though she had yet to decide if she like him or not. good read if you like the scottish/irish hertiage books.

Janet Chapman is always good for a light hearted romantic read. Her books are filled with just enough magic and fantasy to bring in the paranormal fans, but have enough contemporary touches to intrigue the mainstream romance reader. Her books aren’t going to change the world, but they’re definitely fun to have on your shelf. Especially if you have any love for the Scottish highland warrior – which I definitely do. Like many of her other novels, Kenzie is a strong man who after being removed from his time(one down side, this isn’t really explained because it’s assumed you’ve read her other books) is devoted to settling down in the present and helping other lost souls find their ways back to their own lives. Unsurprisingly, Eve is a slightly in distress, strong woman who while being slightly beat down by life, is determined to try and make the best of things on her own. Match? Meet flame. Sparks ensue and an enjoyable route to love is had by all.

Strange book about a man who was a panther, then a regular Highlander from the 11th century. Entertaining, but I was glad to see the end.

Great start. I really enjoyed each of the characters. There was a lot of humor used in this book and the characters were all very believable and charming in their own way. I am looking forward to the next book immensely and recommend this series strongly. Hope you enjoy the story of Eve and Kenzie as much as I did.
