Didn’t Like It

Didn't much care for this one. Tough to get through. Very little happens. Again, as is par for this author, AMAZING ideas for the magic system. He just doesn't use it a whole lot this time around. Humph.

new to me author, great fantasy, strong characters, wothry choice to finish Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time, read from a download- cool concept but I prefer holding a book over cuddling the laptop.

Real twist at the end was nicely surprising to me.

An oustanding fantasy about two sisters and the god that they are fated to marry. Beautiful imagery. Outstanding characters that stay with you long after the story ends. Sanderson meticulously weaves a plot full of twist and turns that all can relate to with in our world today.

Very nice book, it was short, but had an innovative world.

Well worth the read just because of the original storyline.

I am not so thrilled about the cover, but once more, Sanderson delivers with a truly enthralling and original tale. At first, the magic system involving colors (of all things) doesn't hold as much authenticity as the one described in Mistborn, but the story and the characters make up for it, making Warbreaker a wonderfully satisfying read. I wish somebody would start selling Sanderson's books in the Philippines.

This was another book I've had for awhile and never picked up and now I am kicking myself for waiting. At almost 600 pages it quite the hefty book but is a wonderful read! I loved the characters and can't think of a single one that I found lacking. The story is filled with twists and turns that surprised me and kept me wondering what was really going on. We watch the two sisters, Vivenna and Siri, mature through their experiences in Hallandren. The "god" Lightsong was hilarious and kept me laughing through the book and he touches your heart. If you are looking for a good fantasy read this is definitely one to pick up.
