I do love this series--so much that I can't wait for the paperbook editions. However, I read it when I need a break from more serious stuff. Those who complain that the books are all similar, or that they are predictable, should read another author's works. Patterson books--and of course those written by others whose names are added as authors--are not complicated reads--they are basically "beach books."

I usually love all james patterson, esp the womens murder club, but to be honest, this one was a bit boring and predictable, there just didnt seem to be anything to keep me turning the pages, which was a shame as i was looking forward to reading it

I think I was hungry for more Women's Murder Club because I devoured this book. Lindsey Boxer is a San Fransisco detective. When a homeless man is found murdered, her friend and reporter for the Chronicle, wants her to investigate. Unfortunately Lindsey and her partner are called away by their boss. It seems there's murder among the rich and famous. Cause of death seems to be unknown. Lindsey's best friend is the Chief Medical Examiner for the city and she is examining the bodies. More murders happen and as the book goes on both the homeless murder and the rich district murders are solved. There is lots of action and twists in this book. He always throws in a little love and love twists too. All that comes to a close by the end of the book...Happy ending...

Typical of the women's club, it was sad that Yuki could not see past the Docs infirmities. Lindsay atlast is over her fear and is marrying the man she loves.
