Raising a coyote is not without its challenges but author Shreve Stockton has taken it on with love and respect and committment and has written a great love story between animal and human. I live in an area of Southern California whose housing projects have encroached on coyote territory and am probably one of the few who empathise with the plight of the coyote. It warms my heart to read this story. And you'll be equally amazed by the author and how she's adapted from city life to Wyoming. The photos in the book are amazing and worth the cost of the hardcover alone. Highly recommend to anyone who loved The Good Good Pig or Wesley the Owl.
