  “his was very good, though much slower paced than The Last Wish (which to be fair was a collection of short stories, strung together by an over arching story). Not much happened, there was only one slaughtering a weird mythical creature instance (boo) it very much seems to be establishing the new character Ceri (Witcher Princess Source) and building a clear picture of the political scene. Namely why Ceri must be assassinated rather than married off to one of the kings.
  The sense of humour is still wicked, though less in evidence.
  Still looking forward to the other books in the series.”
