“There was quite a bit going on in this book--good characters, varied stories, and ranging emotions. I don't feel Phoebe really grew, or came to know herself anymore after her tragedy with her best friend, and the discovery of how things "really" happened.
The relationship with Miles bothered me in that Phoebe refused to see all of the Red Flags. But I think it was a relationship that mirrored her own with herself and her denial of her own fauts. I found her to be a bit like her clothes--more interested in the AHH factor and appearances than anything else. ”
