• Piper, a girl who can fly, is discovered by the government when she lets her secret slip during a neighborhood ball game. She is taken away to a school (run by a scientist) for kids who have special powers where they are slipped drugs in their food to sedate them and taught the same lessons over and over again. Enlisting the help of what seems, in the beginning, to the be the facility's bully, she and the other kids figure out the grand plan of the scientist, they try to escape her clutches. At first they are unsuccessful, and it feels like all hope is lost for Piper, but at last, they conquer the evil scientist and escape the school forever.
