A five star book about a deathly scary topic. Shenk brings the reader into the history of Alzheimer's from it's discovery by a German doctor to the current day. He gives a thorough account of the current conditions people with Alzheimer's undergo and the hardship involved for the family. A tough subject done with grace and dignity.
