“My new hero. This guy is smart, honest and has the guts to say what he believes and put up with being ridiculed by the ignorant talking heads on cable tv who are merely shills for the gov't approved status quo. Who's laughing now? ”

“This book accurately predicted the housing bubble break and the resultant stock market downfall. But wait, he is still predicting a depression in the US and thus emphasizes owning dividend-paying stocks in Europe and Asia, owning gold due to the upcoming, possibly massive, US inflation. If you're going to read it, read it soon - since he thinks there isn't much time to react to the coming inflation. I think the book is excellent, though he sells his own investment company a little too much throughout.”

Peter Schiff owns an Invesstment Brokerage in the States and he called this financial crisis back in 2006 when all the other experts just laughed at him on the financial shows.
I saw a video montage of his predictions from 2006/7 and he was dead right. He had the courage to put all this in writing and explain in detail his reasoning for the collapse.
It's spooky to read it now because it reads like it was written after the fact. He uses lots of analogies to make potentially complex economic ideas easy to understand.
Move this book to your must-read pile.”
