Life then, life now, life as it is.

Life in the classroom, as a kid or a teen in college. Then he goes to a situation most of us have been into - at one time or another - the life of being unemployed. And I think the life of searching for oneself.

    This is the third book I have read from Bob (back then, on those two other books, blog reviews was not an access to me, if there were already). I say that I still couldn't get enough of him. His stories make me remember a lot of things - good and not-so-good - that were locked up down the depths of my ageing brain.

    Favorite Line(s):

    Maraming maggaling na manunulat sa Pilipinas. Naglipana. Dahil ang totoo, ang bansa nating hikahos ay binubuo ng mga taong nag-uumapaw sa talento, hindi lang natin pinapansin o pinahahalagahan. Nakakatawa nga minsan, pero totoong hindi binibigyang-importansiya ang utak dito sa atin.

    He keeps on saying he is writing for the youth. But isn't it that we have to retain the youth IN us?
