Liked It“The mystery in this one wasn't the greatest but the growth of Jesse was good. It looks like he might finally be letting go of the ex-wife that treats him so badly. Also, an appearance was made by private detective and possible love interest Sunny Randall.” see full review » see other reviews » |

300 pages. ”
“"True confession time". I have read every Robert B. Parker book ever written. I fell in love with his SPENCER character through the television show starring Robert Urich and then proceeded to read that entire series and still follow along when he continues to publish the occasional new volume. I've also read his Sunny Randall series and this one, Night and Day, which is part of the Jesse Stone series. I enjoy the incredibly sparse writing that reveals a lot of character enclosed in a police procedural. This is a very good addition to the Jesse Stone series...and I would recommend reading them in order of the series.
For a departure for most of you, I would also highly recommend Gunman's Rhapsody, a novel about Wyatt Earp...and certianly the best Parker has written to date. It's summer. Try something new!”
“Not the best Parker but none are ever less than engaging.”

I gave this book five stars as Parker deals with a situation that has really been annoying the hell out of me since he began the Jesse Stone series. ”
