I am not an Obama fan and therefore anything I say may be tainted.”

Yes | No“I'm intentionally not rating this book as I do not like it as a Obama supporter, but do give Mr. Corsi credit for the research work he had undertaken. It behooves supporters to read and listen to the opposing side's arguments and, as such, I make it a point to read books such as these. I take issue with the portrait being painted in this book of Barack Obama as a man who is unpatriotic simply because of his not being born and raised completely in the United States; having had a Muslim father and step-father; having studied Islam while in Indonesia and having read extensively on the black liberation movement and other movements in the United States.
Mr. Corsi ends the book on the following note,"if he sticks to the issues, McCain will defeat Barack Obama." I would be curious in hearing Mr. Corsi's thoughts on whether Senator McCain's defeat was because he did not stick to the issues? If so, it's a shame Mr. Corsi was not Senator McCain's leading campaign advisor. ”
“Dozens and dozens of footnotes leave me with the feeling that this is a very well-resourced book, which makes the future scary.”

Too many questions about his background that he never answered. He faced no questions during the campaign. The media let him off too light. ”

*** For full disclosure: I do consider myself a MODERATE LIBERAL, with no particular party affiliation. ***
The author is definitely a conservative, although not a Republican. Whilst the book is pretty well written, I felt that the author did dwell a bit too long on Obama's supposed Anti-Israeli stance, in that particular chapter.
Basically, the author points out some issues that are not well known about Obama, or issues that have not been discussed a lot in the media. EX: Obama's connection with Tony Rezko.
Would I recommend it? Sure.... It may give some of you a more fully rounded impression of Obama as man and politician...”
