I liked this a bit more then most Charlie Parker books. His character seems to be more and more at ease with what his place in his odd life is. The weird thing is while they at first seemed to be the focused on Louis and Angel in the end we really didn't learn any more about them. Louis may be the most interesting character in the series. The plot is, while steeped in history, a bit far fetched and we add another the Parkers rogues gallery in Brightwell
