Riley Jenson is a Guardian who does some kick ass work for The Directorate. She is on a case of a serial killer that is leaving dead vampires and young teenagers. It is up to her to find the connection.
When Bodyguard Kye starts showing up every time she turns around and she threatens to arrest him, his crazy ass drugs her.
Now she begins to wonder if he doesn't have powers that the Directorate would be interested to know of. The full moon is bringing out her werewolf hormones and when she gets close to this crazy wolf she wants nothing more than to roll around the woods with him.
Her passionate vampire lover Quinn is her steady love right now, so she is really trying to stay true to their relationship of one lover for now. But the wolf side of her is making it difficult. The vampire side of her seems content. The case is taking an extremely amount of her energy. Damn good story!

the story in this book was not that interesting but I love the fact that Reily is spending more time with Quinn and with the arrivial of Kye into the mix, its bound to get really good!!

Fate really likes messing with Riley. first she finds out that Quinn is taking a wee bit to much during their lovin then she tups her soul mate and hates herslef for it. Poor Girl can't cut a break, but at least Quinn said he would give her up with out a fight.

Easily the best in the series up to now. The first few books, i struggled to get into, but once the first few chapters was gone, they became fast paced and i usually couldn't put them down. In this book, i was straight away thrown into the book. Its easy to read and has a few twists. Although some parts are hard to get a grip on, the rest has a good story and great characters. I would suggest reading through the series, even if its not something you want to read at first.

Zombies this time, and someone is killing vampires, plus more black magic of a different kind than Riley has encountered before. Arthur has a talent for twists that keep her books from becoming more of the been-there-done-that, and the ending is a surprise that presents a problem for Riley's love life and keeps the reader eager for more. This series is a lot of fun! 3.5 but round up to 4 instead of down this time.
