“This is the first book I've read by Edith Layton and while I'm not thoroughly impressed, I will give her another try. Even though the story was good, the main characters grated my nerves a bit because the author has them so stuck on the circumstances of why they got married that the relationship between them didn't change until almost the end of the book. Also, the ending (for me) was rushed and too simply done. Even though I doubt I'll recommend this book as a first choice when needing something to read, it did make for a good weekend read.”
