It's the first book i've read in years which moved me a lot (though it didn't really make me blink teaspoonfuls of moisture.) Witty Wittlinger engrossed me with this unique story that kept me reading until the dusk of the dawn. I...” see full review » see other reviews » |

I don’t know what the requirements are for that award, but to me this book was quite predictable and simplistic. John is not a likable guy at all and Marisol is trying so hard to be...” see full review » see other reviews » |
“The thing I like most about this is how the main character is totally relateable to the average teenager. With his rotten home life it's no wonder he's managed to become so creative in writing zines. A story about life, love, and hard love.
"Yes it's hard love, but it's love all thel same. Not the sutff of fantasy but more thna just a game. And the only kind of miracle that's worthy of the name, For the lover that heals our lives is mostly Hard Love." -Bob Franke”
“One of my favorite books!”

And as I was reading I totally kept thinking the main character sounded like Holden Caulfield in The Catcher in the Rye. Half way through he admits he is obsessed with J.D. Salinger . . . rock on!”

There are so man interesting aspects of it and the small details bring forth so much more for the characters. So much development and adventure, even if the adventure isn't my usual taste. This book was perfect.”
