“Mostly obvious stuff about the media's skewed presentation of science and public's willingness to follow fads and hype without understanding or caring about statistics.
Includes good treatment (i.e. scathing abuse) of nutritionists, food supplements, AIDS and vitamin-treatments in South Africa and homeopathy.
”
“It's effortlessly readable, an important defense of the scientific method and a sharply witty rebuttal to all the quacks and mindless media outlets promoting alternative medicine and 'natural' lifestyles. in addition, it provides a thorough critique of 'big pharma'. Please read.”
